Vacation in Samara
Playa Samara was voted by The Lonely Planet as one of the best beaches in Costa Rica, on the Pacific side. Samara is a quaint little town in Guanacaste, West of Nicoya.
Samara Beach is great for surfing and many other activities as well, like fishing, dolphin, and boating trips; bird and crocodile watch, and it is also one of the biggest sea turtle nesting areas in the world, for as many as a million turtles may come and lay their eggs in a week span.
The town has a variety of great restaurants serving local food, pizza, sushi, and international cuisine.
Samara has grown over the years and now has a gym, with sauna, Jacuzzi and a spa, and there is also a health food store and an organic market.
There are salsa, yoga, and Zumba lessons and all levels of Spanish courses available.
Iguanas sunbathe around the property and monkeys visit frequently the trees adjacent to the property.
